Silicone sponge and silicone foam is supplied in tape form with either a high temperature silicone
adhesive or a high temperature acrylic adhesive. Silicone adhesives are suitable for use up to 500oF (260oC) and acrylic adhesives are suitable for use up to 300oF (149oC). Adhesives are applied as a means to facilitate assembly and not intended for long term shear loads
