Conductive silicone is available in two grades; thermally conductive silicone sponge and electrically conductive solid silicone.  The thermal grade is used in gasket and cushioning applications where electrical isolation, sealing and heat transfer is needed.  The solid electrical grade silicone is used in gasket applications where sealing and EMI/ RF shielding is needed.
